Characteristics:

White Cheeked Turaco is a mid-sized bird with distinctive plumage colour. They have striking red and green plumage with a beautiful crest on their head and a long colourful tail. They are quite agile as they leap from branch to branch or run along limbs in pursuit of fruit. In the heat of the day they spend time basking and pruning in the sun.
