How much does it cost to visit Winter Wonderland?

Do I need to prebook or can I purchase tickets on the day?

Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance and are available through our website. Walk-in’s may cause disappointment if we are at capacity so we encourage you to book online. Please note, due to the number of bookings taken daily we are unable to take bookings over the phone but if you have a query or have difficulty booking online please email us at info@ardmoreopenfarm.ie and we will do our very best to assist you.

Is access to the Mini Zoo included in the price?

Yes, access to the full facility including Mini Zoo / Open Farm, playgrounds etc. Full use of indoor play centre is also included. The farm walkways will be lit up by night for evening visitors.  On weekdays we will open at the earlier time of 3.30pm to enable full use of all outdoor facilities during daylight hours before your visit to Winter Wonderland.

Is Winter Wonderland ASD friendly?

We will hold two ASD friendly sessions on Sunday 30th November and Monday 22nd December. These bookings can only be made over the phone 024-87600 from 10am on Friday 26th September and they are not available to purchase online. Pre-booking is essential and demand for these bookings is high. We make a number of adjustments to our Winter Wonderland experience to make it more suitable to your family’s needs. Will my family and I see Santa individually and not with other families?

Yes, every booking will see Santa individually.

Can I add additional adults / children to my booking?

While we will do our very best to accommodate any additional family members joining your group, please note that demand is extremely high and once we are at capacity we simply can’t add any additional people. We may suggest an option of moving your booking to a different date or time to allow the additional family members to join in also. We suggest you contact our admin team on info@ardmoreopenfarm.ie and we know they will do their very best to sort any changes or amendments to bookings.

Can we take photos?

Yes – you are most welcome to take your own photos or videos. There will also be a photographer on hand and charges will apply but this is totally optional. We also offer discounts for more than one photo purchased. These photos will be printed and mounted onto our photo surround on site so we remind you to collect your photos before you leave. Ask at reception if you have any queries.

Can you recommend anywhere to stay if we want to make an overnight trip?

We have our very own Glamping Park on site. Each glamping pod will be festively decorated and an overnight stay will really be a festive treat for any family. We have two sizes of glamping pod, 6 of our pods sleep 4 persons each and 3 of our pods sleep 7 persons each. Do you have a café serving food?

Absolutely, our café serves a wide variety of hot dishes, desserts, hot and cold drinks and we even serve wine.

Do I need to print my booking email?

No, there is no need to print the email. We will have all your details at the check-in desk. We would ask that you make sure you have received a confirmation email from us prior to travelling if you booked online to avoid disappointment if an online booking didn’t go through. If you wish to clarify any booking or if you didn’t receive a booking confirmation please email us at info@ardmoreopenfarm.ie and we can check this out in a jiffy!

Can I cancel my booking and receive a refund?

In the unfortunate event you are unable to attend, if you cancel your booking more than 7 days before your date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel less than 7 days and up to 24 hours before your visit, you will be offered a 50% refund. No refund will be available for any cancellations in the 24 hours prior to your booked time slot.

Should you wish to change your booking date or time or transfer your tickets to friends or family a €5 administration fee will apply. Contact us at info@ardmoreopenfarm.ie or 024/87600 to arrange any changes.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

The outdoor and indoor areas are fully wheelchair accessible. If you want to give advance notice in our booking notes that you will have a wheelchair user in your group, we will do our very best to ensure assistance is to hand. Is the event indoors?

Yes, the Winter Wonderland experience is under cover so no matter what the weather is outside you will be covered. However, our carpark and the walk back to the main building are exposed to the elements so suitable clothing is advised.
